Doha: Ndoye Hassino and Saad Abdulrahman Mohamed excelled for Al Gharafa in their 67-56 win over Al Wakrah in the Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) League at Al Gharafa Indoor Stadium here yesterday.
Hassino was successful in finding the basket 21 times while Mohamed scored 16 points. Galloway Kevin Dwayne and Adako Emmanuel Osaro scored 13 and 10 point to give coach Koussay Hatem side full points.
For the losing side, Saaka Adamu and Watson Boney Harold with 16 and 15 points respectively tried to take the fight to the Al Gharafa camp.
Al Gharafa started off on an impressive note and maintained the momentum for the next three quarters. In the first quarter they lead 20-14, in the second period Al Wakrah narrowed down the points difference to six points (33-27).
Thereafter, Al Gharafa struck at regular intervals to win the match.
