Recalled Egyptian 'Maragatty' chicken broth not available in Qatar markets, Health Ministry confirms

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has confirmed that local markets in the State of Qatar do not stock the 'Maragatty' chicken broth product originating from the Arab Republic of Egypt, which has been recalled from markets in some neighbouring countries as it contains banned artificial colours. 

The Ministry of Public Health assures that these products are not imported into the State of Qatar.

The Ministry also noted that all imported food products into the State of Qatar undergo the necessary regulatory procedures to ensure their safety, quality, and compliance with the technical requirements and standard specifications.
