DOHA: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has issued a list of 2,500 universities accredited in 63 countries for Qatari students seeking admission for higher education at their expense.
The list includes universities in Europe, Australia, Asia, America, Latin America, Africa and the Arab world.
The ministry has asked interested Qatari students to go through the list and obtain prior permission from the authorities concerned so that they could be guided properly on how to apply for admission in these universities.
Taking prior permission for admission aims to ensure that the students get an accredited academic degree, said Alwi Al Yafai, Head of the office for university degrees equivalency at the ministry. This will also help students get the right information.
