Doha: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend yesterday, adding 25.12 points (or 0.29 percent) to advance to 8,546.49 points from 8,521.37 on Tuesday. Among the top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 2.01 percent to QR152, International Islamic rose 0.77 percent to QR52.40, Qatar Navigation gained 0.63 percent to QR64.40 and Vodafone Qatar was up by 0.45 percent to QR9. The banking and financial sector index was up 0.91 points, the consumer goods and services sector index lost 1.05 points, the industrial sector gained 24.78 points while the insurance sector dropped 5.77 points.
