Doha: In the reckless driving incident, which happened on Sunday at the Sheraton Hotel, the concerned department of the Ministry of Interior has arrested the accused for damaging other's property, the ministry said.
Two other people were also arrested for recording the video of the incident and sharing it through social media, MoI said.
“The security departments completed the investigation on the incident in order to refer the case to the concerned prosecutor's office for Further legal procedures in this regard,” The post by the ministry on their social media feed said.
After a video went viral on social media, which showed a reckless driver in an SUV wreaking havoc at The Sheraton Doha, the hotel has issued a statement confirming the incident occurred on the premises of the Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel on Sunday morning, November 29.
The hotel issued a statement, which said no guests of staff members were injured in the incident and the driver was escorted by the police and the matter is with the local authorities.
