Doha: Pooja Satheesh of Al-Khor International School and Ananya Manoj of Birla Public School won first position in Junior and Senior categories of Malarvadi Children's organisation's fifth quiz contest, which was held at Tariz Bin Ziyad Secondary School on last Friday.
Fathima Sithara (Noble International School) and Insaf Ahsan (Santinikethan Indian School) in junior, and Aparna Swapna (Al-Khor International School) and Devjith Mathew Rajesh (Birla Public School) in senior category bagged second and third place respectively.
Hundreds of children attended in primary round contest, which was held in Santinikethan Indian School and Al- Khor. Of which nine from each category were selected for final round as per their performance.
Well Known Indian chef Anil Kumar, Indian Islamic Association Acting President KT Abdul Rahiman, Secretary VT Faizal, Cultural Forum President Taj Aluva, Malarvadi Coordinator Siddique Padiyath attended the prize distribution ceremony.
