Doha: Following a viral post on social media of a car being driven on sidewalk, action has been taken against an individual and the vehicle seized, the traffic department said.
The General Directorate of Traffic said this on Twitter adding that the driver failed to comply with the traffic laws and so the vehicle was seized with legal measures taken against its driver.
The department called on public to abide by traffic laws to ensure road safety.
