Doha: Ashghal has announced an eight-hour overnight temporary road closure on Al Shamal road on Friday, January 7, 2022.
The partial closure on Al Shamal Rd towards north between Al Gharrafa (Immigration) Interchange & Duhail IC will be in place along with a closure Al Shamal Rd towards Doha between Umm Lekhba IC & Al Gharrafa IC, on Friday from 2 am to 10 am.
During the closure, drivers heading north can turn right at Al Gharrafa IC onto Khalifa Street, then go left onto Jasim Bin Hamad Street towards Al Khafji Street and turn left at Jelaia Intersection towards Duhail IC and Al Shamal Road.
Road users heading for Doha can turn right at Duhail IC onto Al Gharrafa Street and Khalifa Street, while keeping traffic open to road users heading for Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor and Al Markhiya Street at Umm Lekhba interchange.
