Doha: The Ministry of Public Health has announced that the Qatar Vaccination Center – for Business and Industry Sector will open next week.
In a post on Twitter, the Ministry stated that the new vaccination center will open in Bu Garn on Sunday, January 9, 2022, to administer Covid-19 vaccines to key business and industry workers.
It said that "the new center follows a similar set up and operational model to the Qatar Vaccination Center – for Business and Industry Sector which was open in Doha’s Industrial Area from June to October 2021."

Along with the announcement, MoPH also shared a video of the centre and said: "This short video highlights the significant role that the center played by administering more than 1.6 million first and second doses to key business and industry workers."
As stated in the earlier announcement, the Bu Garn vaccination center will operate on an appointment-based system, with no walk-in appointments given.
The COVID-19 Vaccination Scheduling Unit has been set up to support the booking and appointment process at the vaccination center.
