Al Rayyan power past Al Khor in QBL

DOHA:  Powerhouse Al Rayyan yesterday rode on Davon James Dominic’s brilliant form to beat Al Khor in their Qatar Basketball League game. 
Dominic scored 25 points and managed 7 assists to power Al Rayyan to easy leads in all four quarters at the Al Gharafa Indoor Hall. 
Immanuel Alexander Quintin scored 20 points and had 3 assists as Al Rayyan picked up key points in their title push. 
Abdulla Malek Salem (17 points and 1 assist) and Ngombo Tanguy Alban (13 points and 2 assists) also played well for Al Rayyan. 
For Al Khor, Rembert Patrick Ronald and Abouo Charles offered tremendous resistance against the Al Rayyan backline. 
Ronald scored 28 points and managed 4 assists while Charles dunked 22 points. Charles also had 3 assists to show for his efforts. 
Lasheen Mustafa scored 12 points while Elserafy Mohammed Shawky chipped in with 8 points. 
In the second game of the day, Al Shamal beat Qatar SC 59-56 after Hachad Mohamed Kamal produced an impressive tally of 29 points and 5 assists. 
Diop Abdoukhader and Ambres Mildon scored 12 points each for Al Shamal. 
For Qatar SC, Jefferson Consteveous scored 20 points and managed 5 assists. White Malcolm Anthony had 19 points for Qatar SC.
In today’s matches, Al Arabi take on Al Ahli at 5.30pm while Al Sadd face Al Gharafa at 7.30pm..
