Doha, Qatar: Birla Public School held a Teacher Training Session aimed at empowering teachers who manage students with diverse academic and behavioural needs.

The session took place on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Birla Public School, Abu Hamour, Main Campus. It featured two distinguished facilitators from the Qatar Institute for Speech and Hearing (QISH).

Sathish Chandra Segar, an Occupational Therapist and Clinical Director at QISH, led a discussion on “Neurological Ways of Understanding Academic Difficulties.”

Fathima Fujira, a Clinical Psychologist at QISH, presented on “Classroom Behavior Management.” Understanding the needs of students is crucial for educators to develop appropriate strategies to support them effectively. 

The training session provided teachers with valuable insights and practical strategies for effectively navigating the challenges presented by diverse student needs.
