Doha: Aspire Zone Foundation is hosting the hugely successful Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Handball Club for an intensive pre-season training camp.
The camp, which began on July 27 will end today, is organised across a number of Aspire Zone’s state-of-the-art facilities and comes ahead of the 2015 – 2016 season, which starts in September.
The programme was especially designed to help the team prepare physically and mentally for the new season with daily practice combining work-outs, cardio and training sessions.
This is the third consecutive year that Aspire Zone Foundation is hosting the PSG, building on the success of previous training camps.
The Qatar-owned team is widely regarded as one of the world’s strongest handball teams, and is the top-ranking team in Division 1 of the French Ligue Nationale de Handball (LNH).
During their time at Aspire, the team also stayed at the Torch Hotel.
