Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with President of the sisterly Republic of Lebanon HE General Joseph Aoun, on the sidelines of the extraordinary Arab summit, today in Cairo, in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, and discussed the latest regional and international developments of mutual interest, in addition to exchanging views on all the topics on the summit’s agenda, and everything that would enhance joint Arab action.
The meeting was attended by HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi, Chief of the Amiri Diwan, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation.
From the Lebanese side, it was attended by a number of senior officials and members of the delegation accompanying His Excellency the President.
