Action from the 15th Asian Handball Club Championship Group B match between Qatar’s Al Rayyan and Muscat of Oman at Al Gharafa Stadium, yesterday. Al Rayyan won 23-21. In another Group B match, Al Noor of Saudi Arabia defeated Al Jazera of UAE 28-22. The Group C match between Al Arabi Kuwait and Samen Al Hojaj of Iran ended in an exciting 23-all draw. The Championship is contested by 13 Asian clubs who are split into three groups. Qatar’s Eljaish are in Group A along with Al Ahli (UAE), Kuwait SC (Kuwait) and Al Sadd (Lebanon). Defending champions Mudhar (KSA) are in Group C along with Samen Al Hojaj (Iran), Al Arabi (Kuwait) Al Ahly, (Bahrain) and Jiangsu (China). Four matches will be played today: Al Sadd (Lebanon) vs Al Ahli (UAE), 1.00pm, Al Arabi (Kuwait) vs Al Ahli (Bahrain), 3.00pm, Samen Al Hojaj (Iran) vs Jiangsu (China), 5:00pm and Eljaish (Qatar) vs Al Kuwait SC (Kuwait) 7:00pm.
