Ramallah: The Palestinian Cabinet praised Wednesday the Arab Summit's adoption of the Gaza Strip reconstruction plan along with moves supporting Palestinians' rights against transfer schemes.
The Cabinet reviewed during its weekly session held in the city of Ramallah the upcoming Arab and Islamic moves to mobilize more international support for the establishment of the Palestinian state and ending the Israeli occupation.
The session also discussed holding an international donors' conference and establishing a trust fund under international supervision to which various pledges and financial contributions will be directed, to finance the early recovery and reconstruction plan in a manner that ensures transparency and efficiency of work and procedures.
The Council called on various international parties to pressure the occupation to reopen the relief crossings into the Gaza Strip and resume the entry of aid, which it has been obstructing for the fourth consecutive day, stressing its rejection of politicizing aid and using it as a blackmail card that deepens the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Strip.
