Q Stars Cup: QSL, SNRG launch e-tournament

Doha: The Qatar Stars League (QSL), in co-operation with SNRG, announced the launch of Q Stars Cup electronic football tournament.

The competitions will be held on March 8 and 9, electronically via the website.

The first e-tournament to be held online aims to expand the base of participation in the community, discover talents among amateur players in electronic games and refine and develop them in this sport that draws interest of a large section of the society, especially youth, in addition to being a suitable opportunity for clubs to choose e-football players from among the prominent talents in this game to represent them in the Electronic Qatar Stars League and overseas tournaments.

Rules & Regulations of the tournament
- Game format (one x one) with knockout system.
- Number of participants is 256
- Participants must adhere to the competition time shown in the tournament schedule on the website.
- Participants must register the results of matches on the website, noting that the registration process is subject to monitoring by the organizers.

Commenting on the tournament, Executive Director of the project Ahmad Al Meghessib said, “We’re pleased to launch the electronic football tournament (Q Stars Cup) in co-operation with SNRG as this is a new initiative by QSL to discover prominent players in e-sports and help clubs discover talents to represent them in upcoming official events and tournaments.”

SNRG Founder and CEO Ibrahim Samha said, “We’re proud of this co-operation with QSL and its vision for organizing electronic events and tournaments.
