Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations H E Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani met on Tuesday with UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy on Water Retno Marsudi, at the Permanent Mission’s headquarters in New York. During the meeting, they discussed global water-related challenges, including water scarcity and the effects of climate change. The two sides stressed the importance of enhancing international cooperation in water resources management to ensure their sustainability.
