Riyadh: Riyadh will host on Sunday the preparatory meeting of the committee of undersecretaries of GCC ministries of petroleum. The meeting will discuss a number of topics, including the recommendations of special committee on petroleum information and the activation of cooperation between national oil companies in the GCC countries.
The meeting will also review the report of the GCC team on energy affairs in the World Trade Organization and free trade agreements, a follow-up report on the developments related to the meetings of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, and a report on cooperation among the GCC countries in renewable energy field.
