DOHA: Ezdan Hotels received Sudanese student Ahmed Mohamed, also known as ‘Clockmaker’ to honour him and his family.
He was given the Ezdan Shield by General Manager Hasib Kayali, as a recognition and encouragement to keep inventing and overcoming challenges.
Kayali said the invitation was part of encouraging the student to be more innovative. It is an initiative to inspire and nurture talents morally and educationally, which can be achieved by recognising talented people’s creativity and thought, motivating them to hone skills to achieve the best for our modern world.
Ezdan has recently hosted delegations to World Robot Olympiad and provided them facilities. This illustrates Ezdan’s keenness to stimulate creativity in scientific and technical areas to promote the renaissance of nations.
Ahmed recently arrived in Qatar after accepting a student grant from Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development to be part of its Young Innovators Programme.
