Doha: Parents Teachers Association (PTA) organised a Winter Fair at Sherborne Pre-Prep School-Qatar.
Over 600 people attended the event which was in aid of Educate a Child that supports and helps children out of class. It is estimated that about 80 million children around the world have no access to education.
Razwan Sarwar, Head, Prep Music at the school, said he was amazed by the turnout, adding that some 60 vendors also took part, including from Yamaha and FM group. Entertainment included a Punch and Judy Show, Sherborne Prep Choir and staff band, a rock band from the US called Afcent and Punjab Musical Group. Activities were run by school students and staff to bring communities together for entertainment. Sarwar and PTA will continue to hold such events for all communities.
