DOHA: Jefferson Consteveous and team-mate White Malcolm Anthony yesterday waded into Al Arabi defence with purpose to power Qatar SC to a 86-79 victory on second game-day of the Emir Cup.
Consteveous scored 26 points while Anthony impressed with a tally of 25 to lift Qatar SC at Al Gharafa Indoor Hall.
Consteveous enjoyed his splendid performance with 6 assists while Anthony managed a couple of assists.
Al Muftah Abdulrahman Ibrahim also chipped in with a useful contribution, producing 11 points.
Abdalla Ahmed Mahmood (9) and Yousif Ahmad (8) were the other main scorers for Qatar SC .
For Al Arabi, Soyebo Temi Narcellius clearly savoured one of his better performances, producing a tally of 32 points and 12 assists.
Seck Oumar also reached double figures, scoring 19 points. Al-Nasr Khalid Masoud scored 14 points.
In the second game of the day, Al Rayyan beat Al Wakrah 89-83.
For Al Rayyan, Ngombo Tanguy Alban lead the way with 23 points.
Alban was one of three players to hit the 20-mark.
Hill Lawrence scored 21 points while Raffa Anthony Joseph managed a tally of 20.
Abdulla Malek Salem (14) and Musa Yasseen Ismail (11) also played well.
For Al Wakrah, Abouo Charles scored 27 points while Ndour Mame Souleye scored 17.
