DOHA: Very Nice Name yesterday won the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani Trophy by winning the feature race at Al Rayyan Park.
Ridden by jockey P Convertino, Very Nice Name crossed the winning post ahead of G Mikhalides-trained Gojeri who was ridden by David Bouland.
In third place was Al Madina who was ridden Sylvain Ruis.
Very Nice Name is trained by Alban de Mieulle. Convertino picked up the top prize of QR 285,000. Yesterday’s meeting consisted of seven races.
The next race meeting will take place on December 12 and 13.
