Noted Dalit scholar Dr Pradeepan Pampirikunnu has died, aged  47.

He had met with a motor accident few days ago and had been hospitalized since in Medical College, Calicut.  An emerging writer, critic and dramatist in Malayalam, he headed the Malayalam department of Koyilandi Campus of Sri Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady.
