A dedicated, passionate local reporting team knows this very well and since the launch of The Peninsula in March 1996, it has worked hard to meet the demands of the readers for local news stories with a stamp-of-credibility on them.

The local reporting section went through a major transformation in last five years with hiring of more reporters to translate newspaper’s ‘Local Focus’ slogan into distinctive reality on country’s journalistic landscape.
