Doha: The Qatar Handball Association (QHA) has named the 10 players who will represent Qatar at the 9th Asian Men’s Beach Handball Championships which will take place in Bali, Indonesia from 10 to 19 March 2023.
The event serves as qualification event for the 2024 IHF Men’s and Women’s Beach Handball World Championships.
The Qatari team find themselves in Group A, facing Iran, Philippines, Republic of Korea and Saudi Arabia.
The Group (B) includes Indonesia, Vietnam, Oman, Hong Kong, Kuwait and China.
Qatar’s Squad: Muhsen Al Yafei, Mohamed Al Sousi, Mohamed Hassan, Ali Mohamed, Abdulrazaq Murad, Amer Denger, Hamdi Ayad, Hani Kakhi, Mohamed Saleh and Sayed Kenawi.
