Mowasalat bags first place at Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport

Doha: Mowasalat (Karwa) won the first place in the Initiatives Category (The Outstanding Sustainable Transport Award) at the Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport (DAST) 2024, which is one of the leading awards in encouraging efforts that contribute to achieving sustainability. 

This award honours best practices and approaches that elevate environmental, economic, and social sustainability to the highest levels in the road and transport sectors. Mowasalat (Karwa) winning this award confirms the company’s commitment to promoting innovation and sustainability in the State of Qatar.

Mowasalat (Karwa)’s success in implementing sustainable strategies has borne fruit as it leads in this award among 168 participating entities from various countries. The company aims to enhance awareness and drive positive change through adopting global best practices in sustainability and achieving international certifications that reflect its leadership in this field.

On this occasion, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mowasalat (Karwa) H E Dr. Eng. Saad bin Ahmed Al Mohannadi said: “This attainment reflects Qatar’s commitment to achieving its Vision 2030 by promoting sustainability and innovation across all sectors.
