Doha: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced an update regarding restrictions related to personal boats. This decision comes in line with the Phase 4 of the gradual lifting of COVID-19 restrictions plan in the country.

On Twitter, MoPH stated that it will maintain restrictions on rental and excursion/touristic boats with a maximum capacity of 50%, up to a maximum of 40 people (only 5 of which can be unvaccinated).

On the other hand, personal boats can operate with full capacity with a maximum of 12 people.

The Ministry also added that all staff and navy crew must be vaccinated, for both personal boats and rental as well as excursion/touristic boats.a
