Doha: The Public Works Authority, (Ashghal) announced that the exit ramp (Doha Bound) on Al Shamal Road leading to Al Kharaitiyat Interchange (N8) will be closed and traffic will be diverted to a newly constructed diversion with the same number of lanes as the existing road and located just before the closed exit ramp as shown in the attached map.
The diversion will begin on Friday December 11 and will be in place until the fourth quarter of 2016. This closure is required to carry out construction works of a bridge which forms part of the North Road enhancement project.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the diversion. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
