Al Khor edge out Al Ahli as El Jaish down Al Sadd

Action during the Qatar Cup basketball tournament clash between Al Khor and Al Ahli at Al Gharafa Indoor Hall yesterday. 

DOHA: Rembert Patrick Ronald sparkled with 24 points as Al Khor edged past Al Ahli in their opening clash of the 2016 Qatar Cup.

Ronald added 5 assists also as Al Khor posted a 82-75 win at Al Gharafa Indoor Hall. 
Abouo Charles chipped in with 21 points 4 assists while Hadzibegovic Alen added 18 points. 
Elserafy Mohammed Shawky’s contribution for 9 points in Al Khor’s first win.
For Al Ahli, Rice Darius Lashaun played the lone ranger role with a bag of 35 points. Seydou Ndoye Elhadj scored 21 points while Joyner Jr. Terrence Lavalle managed a tally of 17 points.
No other player for Al Ahli impressed on the court. 
In the second game of the day, El Jaish beat Al Sadd 74-73. 
Macklin Vernon Leon scored 27 points and managed 4 assists as El Jaish picked up a key win. 
Bell Rashad Ernest also played well to score 17 points while Ngom Babcar Marone managed a tally of 10 points. Both also managed 4 assists each. Abilmona Fadi Hani scored 8 points. 
For Al Sadd, Williams Dante Nathanael scored 25 points and chipped in with 5 assists.  
Kone Mohamed Deba poured in 19 pAbdi Khalid Suliman (12) and Daoud Daoud Mousa (11) also played well to reach the double figures.
