Another wonderful weekend is here and we have drawn out a list of interesting activities you can indulge in. From a dog show at Qaws to Yard Sale by Doha Mums here are five interesting activities to look forward for:
To celebrate World Diabetes Day (observed on Novermber 14), Qatar Diabetes Association will organise a walkathon at Museum of Islamic Park on November 11. The approx 1km walkathon will begin at 3pm. In addition there will be blood sugar tests and nutrition counseling also at the venue.
When: November 11, 2016; 3pm to 9pm (meeting time 2:30)

An event to socialise with other dog lovers, the 7th annual Woofstock Dog Show and Festival will be held on Friday outside QAWS from 14:00 till 18:00.
Over 400 dogs participated in the event last year. According to organisers Facebook page “all dogs are welcome to Woofstock on the condition that they are all fully vaccinated, social with other dogs & people and kept on a lead at all times.”
What else will be there: Pet Accessories, QAWS & Woofstock merchandise, table top sale, bouncy castle, BBQ, sweets & cakes, face-painting, competitions, raffle, and lots, lots more!
There are many classes of competitions like Waggiest Tail, Junior Handler (under 16s), Prettiest Female, Most Handsome Male, Best Puppy (under 1 year), Best Veteran (over 7 years) and many more.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of restituting Georgia’s statehood and independence in 1991, Nani Bregvadze, the grand lady of songs and romances and famous vocal soloist Eka Mamaladze will perform at Katara Opera House. The soiree will also features brilliant jazz pianist Davit Mazanashvili and the authentic Georgian Voices ensemble. The event will be followed by a reception.

Doha Mums yard sale will be held at the Doha Rugby Club on November 12. An entry fee of QR5 per adult will be charged, the proceeds will go to benefit the Doha Mums Children's library.

Head to Aspire Zone to watch the 4th edition of Aspire International 6:50 race this weekend. The event a 50km run race with team relay is a much-awaited event among running enthusiasts both locally and internationally. Apart from this Aspire promises lot of fun activities and competitions too.
