Doha: On its weather forecast for the weekend, Qatar Meterology Department (QMD) stated that weather conditions at some places will be misty at first following moderate temperature during daytime with some clouds. Slight dust is also forecasted on Friday. Cold nights are also expected during the weekend.
The temperature will vary between 16 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celcius.
The wind, on Friday, will mainly blow northwesterly at 7-17 KT gusting to 22 KT inshore and 10-20 KT reaching to 24 KT at places offshore. QMD also warned about strong wind and high seas offshore on this day.
On Saturday, the wind will blow mainly northwesterly at 5-15 Kt reaching to18 KT at places by midday inshore and 7-17 KT reaching to 20 KT to the north offshore.
On both days, sea heights will likely be 1-3 ft, rising to 4ft inshore. On Friday, sea heights offshore will rise to 8 ft. While on Saturday, sea heights will likely rise to 6ft north offshore.
The visibility during the weekend will be 4-8 km / 3 km or less at places at first inshore.
