Qatar Indian Football Forum (QIFF) formed a 90-member organising committee to conduct their 10th Indian Community football tournament in association with Qatar Football Association (QFA).
The committee formed in a meeting held at Marriot Hotel inaugurated by Gireesh Kumar, president of Indian Cultural Center. Shamsudheen Olakara, President, Qatar-Indian Football forum controlled the presidium.
Aravind Patel, President of ICBF (Indian Community Benevolent forum), KM Varghees, president of IBPN, Sharaf P Hameed, CEO of City Exchange and main sponsor of the tournament felicitated at the event. The tournament will start from October 13 at Doha Stadium. 12 teams are participating in the league round matches. All the matches will be held through all Thursdays and Fridays.
The tournament conducted by Qatar Indian Football forum in association with QFA is the largest community football tournament in Qatar and much awaited sports event. All the previous QIFF tournaments has secured the exclusive collaboration of the QFA towards successful organisation and increased participation of Indian and other communities in Qatar.
