Doha: Qatar Museums has launched the Remote and Regular Internship Programme, spearheaded by the Learning and Development Section of its Human Capital Department. The programme will support university students, recent graduates and talented and aspiring members of the community who are looking for suitable work placement opportunities.
The programme will positively influence interns’ employment prospects; enhance their skills in line with organizational and market needs; improve self-discipline and allow them to adapt to the regular/remote working settings while having the opportunity to network and build connections.
Saeed Rashid Al Behaih, Acting Director of Human Capital at Qatar Museums, said: “Internships are invaluable in preparing students and fresh graduates for their chosen careers paths, introducing them to various professions, so they are able to make informed decisions that align with both their passions and career ambitions. We invite all eligible members of the community to apply to the latest edition of Qatar Museums’ internship programme to learn more about the cultural sector and the various career prospects it offers.”
In the course of the programme, interns will be introduced to the world of arts and culture, with opportunities to work on numerous live projects and assignments with set deadlines. Interns will also have access to regular support from colleagues and/or managers via regular/remote working systems, group emails and calls, and coffee-and-learn sessions to ensure that they feel part of a supportive team.
The Remote and Regular Internship Programme will run for periods of 3, 6 and 12 months and interns will have the flexibility to either work in a regular or remote setting, depending on operational requirements and interns’ needs.
University students, fresh graduates and members of the community who are 18 years of age and older are encouraged to apply for the programme. For more details and to apply visit https://qm.org.qa/en/about-us/careers-and-opportunities/internships/
