Corniche road will be closed to traffic for five hours on Friday, January 13, from 6:30am to 11:30am. The traffic is closed for the safety of the runners participating in the Ooredoo Marathon that will begin at Museum of Islamic Art.
Marathon spectators can view the race at Corniche walkway or at the many checkpoints lining the Corniche. This year approximately 1,650 runners have registered to pariticipate in the race.
