Qatar Youth Hostels (QYH) is going to conduct a special platform for women on March 15. This forum is open for local women and women from all over the world. QYH invites women to celebrate International Women’s Day with known females in Qatar.
QYH is going to acknowledge International Women’s Day 2017 with a ground breaking event featuring a series of inspiring talks, international speakers and a networking lunch hosted in honour of the women working for society.
Halima Alazkawi,An employee at QYH said that: “International Women’s Day is held annually, It is an anniversary to recognize and highlight women’s achievements. Along with the challenges encountered on their way, under advocacy calls for positive changes and accelerated endeavors to ensure adequate opportunities for their involvement in making the history of their homeland and society.”
“The woman has been undertaking a distinct role in all domains; she now holds the highest-profile administrative, diplomatic, scientific positions, in addition to entrepreneurship, inside or outside Qatar, creating a role model for all feminine actors and producers, who can potentially partake in developing their society and homeland, now and in the future,” she further added.
QYH aims is to provide a promising platform to further promote and support women for making greater social, political and economic accomplishments. QYH helps women to defeat the obstacles and stumbling blocks in their development path, up to holding high-profile and decision-making positions, based on justice, gender equality and equal opportunities.
