Volleyball: Egypt win four-nation friendship tourney in Doha

Doha: Egypt finished with an all-win record to win the four-nation tournament organised by Qatar Volleyball Association.
On Friday night at Al Arabi Stadium, Egypt won a closely contested match against Cameroon to make it three wins in an equal number of matches.
The eventual winners romped home 3-2 (27-25, 22-25, 29-27, 23-25 and 15-10).
In earlier encounters, Egypt defeated hosts Qatar and India.
Hosts Qatar finished second after defeating India in the last match of the tournament. India, which rested some of its key players for the tournament, finished with an all-lose record.
Qatar defeated India 3-0 (25-22, 25-18 and 29-27).
Qatar team is preparing for the 13th Asian Championship, to be held in Tehran, Iran, from July 31 to August 8. In Tehran, Qatar are drawn along with Australia, India and Turkmenistan.
