ABU DHABI: Dubai Petroleum said on Saturday a gas leak had occurred at its offshore Fateh oilfield on Thursday but that the situation was now stable.
The source of the gas leak was at an area where a previous fire had occurred in 1975 and was dealt with immediately and in a safe manner, state news agency WAM said quoting a company statement.
Operations have resumed since then and the situation is stable, the statement said.
