Doha, Qatar: The 10th edition of PCL Qatar, the premier annual inter-hotel cricket championship, concluded on a high note, marking a decade of passion and commitment to the sport. The event, held on February 22, saw a thrilling semi-final and a hard-fought final. Chander Raina, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, emphasised the core values of the league: “At the heart of PCL is an unwavering commitment to excellence, fairness and inclusivity. We aim to create an environment where talent can thrive and dreams are realised.”
After a series of intense matches, the Mondrian Falcons, representing Mondrian Doha, emerged victorious, claiming the coveted PCL trophy. The Steigenberger Lions from Steigenberger Doha secured the runner-up position, capping off a thrilling final. Sohail Khan and Lijesh PV of Steigenberger Lions walked away with the ‘Best Batsman’ and ‘Best Bowler’ awards respectively.
