Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Monday's trading higher by 28.54 points, or 0.28 percent, to close at 10,146.65 points.
During the session, 181,977,968 shares, valued at QAR 371,895,109.941, were traded in 18,343 transactions across all sectors.
Shares of 24 companies rose, while 23 companies saw a decline in their share price, and four companies maintained its previous closing price.
Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to QAR 596,618,083,470.042, compared to QAR 594,701,486,263.371 in the previous session.
