Doha: Qatar Museums (QM) announced that an online lecture on “Fine Art's Aesthetic Dimensions and Impact on Pop art” will take place on January 20. The virtual lecture will be conducted via Zoom and is free of charge.
It tackles the overview of the aesthetic dimensions in art throughout history. It will also explain how modern art is changing those dimensions and is creating a new art culture, such as 20th century Pop art. Speaker for the lecture is Dr. Musaed Albehairi from Kuwait University.
This will run from 6:30pm to 8pm, and interested participants should register via QM’s website in able to attend. The mode of language will be Arabic.
