Doha: The American Chamber of Commerce in Qatar (AmCham Qatar) will host a special edition of its popular Distinguished Speaker Series as part of the second annual Discover America Week from today until February 22.
A panel of international media experts will tackle the upcoming US presidential election in a debate ‘Presidential Predictions Forum: Media, Politics and Campaign 2016’.
It will be moderated by Everette E Dennis (pictured), Dean and CEO, North Western University Qatar, and will include Clyde Wilcox, Professor of Political Science at Georgetown School of Foreign Service in Qatar; Jocelyn Mitchell, Assistant Professor of Liberal Arts, NU-Q; and Yasir Khan, Producer and Documentary Filmmaker, Al Jazeera English.
AmCham Qatar Chairman Robert A Hager said, “AmCham Qatar is following developments in the American election cycle, one of the most passionate and hardest to call in recent history. Discussions will offer perspective on what to expect from the race for the US presidency.
