Al Duhail maintained their lead in the points table while Qatar SC overtook Al Wakrah to enter the top four once again in an action-filled week of the QNB Stars League which saw 16 goals being scored.
The postponed matches from the 10th week saw four out of six games ending up with winners taking full points.
One of the drawn games was the high-profile clash between the reigning champions Al Sadd and the leaders Al Duhail which saw both teams scoring two goals each.
At the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Sunday, Al Sadd had almost secured their 10th win of the season before Al Duhail dashed their victory hopes by pulling off a thrilling comeback in the stoppage time to shock the title-holders and extend their lead at the top to five points.
Al Duhail now have 36 points from 15 matches, ahead of Al Arabi on 31 points from 15 matches, and Al Sadd, who are third with 29 points from 16 games. In terms of changes in the standings, Qatar SC climbed from sixth to fourth spot after their 3-1 win over Al Ahli while Al Wakrah dropped one place to fifth with 24 points after their 1-1 draw with Al Rayyan. Al Gharafa dropped from fifth to sixth with 23 points.
Al Arabi, currently placed second with 34 points, meanwhile, reduced the gap with leaders Al Duhail to two points after their 1-0 victory over Al Gharafa.
However, the Red Knights have played one game less, with their Week 15 game against Al Rayyan yet to be played.
Meanwhile, Al Sadd retained their third place with 29 points after adding one following the draw.
Al Ahli remained in seventh spot with 21 points and Al Markhiya stood eighth with 18 points.
At the bottom of the table, Umm Salal registered their second victory this season by beating Al Shamal 1-0. Umm Salal and Al Rayyan both have 13 points, but the latter were placed ahead (10th place) on better goal difference. Al Sailiya, who lost 1-3 to Al Markhiya, remained at the bottom with nine points.
