Doha, Qatar: The Islamweb, affiliated with the Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, has launched a new digital service called ‘FatwaTok’, a platform that allows users to view religious fatwas in an endless browsing mode.

The service provides a seamless experience for accessing religious content, especially for younger generations accustomed to this browsing style on short-form content platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The new service offers multiple features that make it a unique destination for those seeking fatwas and Islamic rulings. It allows users to browse fatwas without limits via continuous scrolling, making access to fatwas easier and faster.

FatwaTok relies on providing short, easy-to-understand content, making it more attractive to younger users who are accustomed to fast-paced content.

The service draws its fatwas from the Islamweb database, which contains hundreds of thousands of reliable fatwas, drafted by a group of Muslim scholars specialising in fatwas. The platform allows users to like, save, and share fatwas with friends and the community, enhancing engagement with religious content.

Users can save fatwas for later reference and use when needed, promoting continuous learning and a deeper understanding of Islamic rulings. The FatwaTok service aims to strengthen the connection between new generations of young men and women to their religion in a digital-age-friendly manner, encouraging them to learn Islamic rulings through reliable, fast, and engaging digital content, and providing a global reference for Islamic fatwas that is easily accessible to all.

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs affirmed that the launch of “FatwaTok” falls within the framework of its commitment to keeping pace with digital transformations and presenting religious content in a modern and innovative manner that meets the needs of modern users and makes learning about Islamic rulings easier and more convenient. People can benefit from the ‘FatwaTok’ service via the link: https://www.islamweb.net/ar/. With the increasing reliance on digital platforms for information, FatwaTok represents a significant step forward in providing religious fatwas interactively using innovation.

This approach promotes the spread of accurate religious knowledge and facilitates quick and easy access to reliable fatwas.

The Islamweb invited the public and all Muslims around the world to try FatwaTok and benefit from its distinguished services. It noted that this platform represents a valuable addition to digital Islamic content and will contribute to providing religious fatwas in a manner suitable for all age groups.
