Reyada Medical Centre, Qatar’s newest healthcare facility unveiled its brand identity, anchoring the icon ‘shield’, yesterday.

Reyada Healthcare Chairman, Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Hamad Al Thani said, “The opening is aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030 that seeks expansion in the private healthcare sector. We are certain that with its world-class facilities and exceptional team of medical experts and professionals, it will be a valuable addition to the healthcare sector in Qatar.”

The medical centre which spans 4,500sqm  is set to open early next year and is located at C-Ring Road, along Airport Road.

Speaking to The Peninsula, Reyada Healthcare’s Managing Director Jamsheer Hamza said the shield symbolises the protection of all individuals against diseases.

“We will fight unwanted uncertainties by providing a shield. Every patient is a warrior, fighting against the uninvited uncertainty, both with their mind and body. The battle is spearheaded by the hospitals and healthcare facilities they opt to defeat the disease.

“That way, Reyada acts as the shield that protects the patients and makes them equipped for the imminent victory.

“The hope and confidence of patients and their well-wishers in their protecting shield gave space for the shield shape in logo,” Hamza said.

Hamza said there is a way to educate the public about their health, “when you are sick, you must immediately get an expert opinion, consult a doctor or healthcare professional.”

Reyada is an Arabic term which means ‘pioneer’. The medical centre will have over 18 specialised departments, an optical shop, pharmacy, radiology and laboratory services, along with 30 consultation rooms. it will also offer home care and televideo consultation facility. It promises to provide quality care at affordable price, multilingual doctors and staffs from around the world, and fully digitalised clinic.
