Temperature to drop during weekend; QMD issues marine warning

Doha: Temperatures are expected to gradually decrease during the weekend, according to Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) on its latest weather update.

Daytime temperature during this period will range at a maximum of 26 to 33 degrees Celsius. While the temperature at night will likely vary from a low of 14 to 23 degrees Celsius. 

A marine warning is also issued as thundery rain with high waves are expected to occur from today, November 17, until Friday, November 19, 2021. 

This weather condition will be accompanied by sudden strong winds blowing from southwesterly to southeasterly at 8-18 KT reaching to 27 KT during thundery rain.

Wave heights will also likely range between 2-5 ft rising to 8 ft during thundery rain.
