Doha: Soyebo Temi Narcellius and O’Brien Todd Edward scored 29 points each for Al Arabi in their 84-78 win over Al Khor in the Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) League here at the Al Gharfa Indoor Stadium yesterday.
At the end of the first quarter, Al Arabi led 25-20, but in the second they picked up pace to widen the gap by 13 points (40-27).
Al Khor bounced back to make it 62-52 at the end of the third quarter, hoping to make a fight in the last period.
However, in the final session, Al Arabi held on to the lead to wrap the proceedings.
Rembert Patrick Ronald top scored with 33 points for Al Khor while, Abouo Charles had 24 successful attempts.
