Brussels: Minister of State for International Cooperation HE Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met on Tuesday with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, HE Tom Fletcher, on the sidelines of the 9th international Conference in support of Syria, organized by the European Union (EU) in Brussels.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed areas of cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and ways to support and enhance them, particularly in the area of humanitarian aid for Gaza, along with several topics of mutual interest.
HE the Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator praised the State of Qatar's significant efforts in advancing humanitarian diplomacy.
