Doha, Qatar: Vision International School (VIS) proudly celebrated Garangao. The school was filled with festive spirit as students arrived dressed in beautiful, traditional, and colorful attire reflecting the Qatari heritage’s richness.
The celebration began with a vibrant assembly where students sang traditional Garangao songs, bringing joy and energy to the occasion. A highlight of the day was the heartwarming tradition of sharing and exchanging treats among classmates, symbolizing generosity, community, and cultural pride.
“This celebration is a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience and honour Qatari culture,” said Shan Green, The Head of School. “It’s always special to see how deeply engaged and joyful the children are during events like Garangao.”
