An Evening with Wagner, Khachaturian, and Strauss

Are you into a dramatic musical concert? Then join the Philharmonic under the baton of internationally acclaimed conductor Johannes Vogel for a spectacular evening featuring the influential works of Richard Wagner, Aram Khachaturian, and Johann Strauss. The Orchestra will serenade you with pieces from Wagner’s revolutionary operas such as Tannhäuser, Der fliegende Holländer (The Flying Dutchman), and Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg (The Master-Singers of Nuremberg)– as well as excerpts from Khachaturian’s incidental music for the play Masquerade, and some of his works from the ballet Gayane. 

The concert will conclude with a flourish, with the orchestra performing some of Strauss’ iconic waltzes (Kaiser-Walzer) and polkas (Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka). Ticket prize starts from QR 100 at QTickets.

Street Child World Cup Art Exhibition

NMoQ x Microsoft Weekend Camp Series: Minecraft Apply and Enrich, Introduction to Coding

October 22, 2022 at 10am - 11:30am (Microsoft Teams meeting) 

Children ages 8-12 and Minecraft beginners are invited to join this webinar wherein students will be introduced to basic coding principles and Minecraft’s computer science applications including Code Builder, Hour of Code, and Computer Science Resources.

If you are 18 years old and above, the Katara Cultural Village is inviting you to participate in the second edition of its Prize for Cartoon competition. The theme of the drawing is sports and football (Arabic or English), and you can submit three works (colour or black and white) that have not been previously published in media, social networking sites, or Internet sites. 'Shoes for Dreams' campaign


The Global Women At Work (GWAW) is running another week of its 'Shoes for Dreams' campaign with the aim to "help feet in need and keep preloved shoes out of landfills". How does it work? GWAW founder Elsbeth Blekkenhorst-Tammes and her team will collect new or in good condition shoes in all styles and sizes from your location, and donate them to women in need in Qatar. Family Map Treasure Hunt at FBQ Museum

Parents, take your kids to FBQ Museum and let them explore and have fun while following the museum's camel mascot, Adam, as he guides visitors on a discovery journey through all museum halls, along with FBQ Educators who will be around to enliven the activities with hints and clues to find mysterious objects across the collections.

Artists' Gathering Workshop at Mathaf
