Doha: Calling all ARMYs! It’s the moment that you’ve been waiting for as the performance of BTS’ Jungkook happens tomorrow at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Entitled, “Dreamers”, Jungkook’s much-awaited soundtrack and music video for the tournament was announced on BTS’ official Twitter account and Weverse channel.
The soundtrack will be dropped tomorrow, November 20, 2022, at 8am. This will be followed by a "Dreamers" live performance by the artist himself at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar at Al Bayt Stadium. Fans can tune in to FIFA Accredited media platforms at 5:40pm Qatar time to watch the performance.
In an announcement on Weverse, the artist’s label, Big Hit Music, also shared a channel list to view the event.
The official music video for “Dreamers” will be released on November 22, 2022 at FIFA’s official YouTube channel.
Fans took to social media to celebrate the announcement of the much-awaited soundtrack and performance of Jungkook, who will also write his name in history as the first Korean artist to perform at the FIFA World Cup.
Jungkook, the youngest member of world sensation BTS, arrived in Qatar on November 15, an eventful day for both the band and ARMYs when BTS scored three Grammy nominations.
Since his arrival in the country, he was spotted visiting several places in Qatar such as Place Vendome Mall in Lusail, The Pearl Qatar, and more. Two days ago, “JK” or “Kookie”, to his fans also took part in the ‘Run BTS’ challenge with a short clip on his Instagram story.
